This is the very first episode of the podcast (season 1). We are kicking things off by discussing the idea of getting back to having a garden, in the manner that was common among many of our parents and grandparents. While we all have busy lives, establishing a garden can be seen as a means of achieving many goals: regular exercise, time with family/kids, saving on groceries, etc.

Very interesting podcast, and especially nice to hear the enthusiasm/passion that comes across when speaking. We are looking forward to the next one and will be sure to spread the word.
Thanks for the positive feedback. We really appreciate it and look forward to producing our future episodes.
Can’t figure out how to play it. The download does not work and neither does “play in new window”.

I watched your episode where you used a plastic juice bottle attached to the end of a garden hose, mounted on the end of a downspout. Does this back up and overflow in a heavy rain?
I’m sure that’s possible in a heavy rain given how narrow the hose is. That’s not a problem for me – the driveway take the water away from the house, and there will still be a lot of rain going to the pond
